Residential 3D Rendering for Apartments and Housing
360 Space delivers residential 3D rendering for apartments and housing projects across India. Our residential rendering services produce the full launch kit, from hero exterior to show flat and floor plans, before construction starts.
- launch brochures
- RERA-stage visuals
- site office screens
02What is different
What residential architectural visualization has to do
Residential buyers decide on lifestyle as much as layout, so residential architectural visualization has to show the home, not just the building: the view from the balcony, the amenity deck at dusk, the kitchen with real finishes.
Scale changes the brief. A single residential building 3D rendering set may need five or six views; a gated community adds aerials, clubhouse, internal roads and landscape.
Project scale guidance
- 01Single tower: hero exterior, entrance, one amenity, show flat rooms, floor plans
- 02Twin or multi-tower: add aerial and podium views
- 03Gated community: add masterplan aerial, clubhouse, internal streets and landscape
03What we render

Residential architectural visualization for apartment and housing projects
Residential 3D rendering has three audiences inside one project. The promoter wants a hero image that fills the launch. The sales team wants rooms and plans that answer buyer questions. The channel partner wants something light to forward. As a residential visualization studio working across India, we plan the apartment rendering set around those three people before a camera is placed.
A good housing project rendering shows what a buyer cannot see on a site visit to an empty plot: the view from a particular floor, how the podium sits against the street, where the morning light reaches the living room. Residential building 3D rendering that answers those questions shortens the distance between enquiry and booking.
Where residential renders are used
- Hoardings, brochures and press ads at launch
- Booking-stage material shared by channel partners
- Sales gallery screens and walk-in conversations
- Possession-stage updates to existing buyers

Which views carry which job
| View | Question it answers | Where it works hardest |
|---|---|---|
| Hero exterior at dusk | What will this project look like? | Hoardings, ads, website banner |
| Podium and amenity deck | What will daily life be like? | Brochure spread, social carousel |
| Aerial with context | Where is it and what is around it? | Location advantage pages, investor decks |
| Living room and balcony | What will my home feel like? | Sample flat page, WhatsApp forwards |
| Furnished unit plan | Will my furniture fit? | Unit pages, booking forms |
03
Making residential visuals interactive
Residential renders do not have to stop at the image. The same model can power a rendered 360° tour of a unit that buyers open on a phone, and an interactive floor plan where a buyer taps a room to see it. We build these from the model used for your stills, so there is no second pass of drawings and no second set of materials to approve.
For launches with several towers, a masterplan tap-through lets a buyer pick a tower, a floor and a unit type in turn. It is the digital version of the model table in the site office, and it works for the buyer who is abroad.
Ideas for a residential launch
- A rendered sample flat tour shared before the show flat is built
- A tower selector built from the masterplan aerial
- A day and dusk pair of the same camera for ads
- A short vertical reel of the amenity deck for social

What buyers ask about a residential project, and the view that answers each
Residential buyers ask the same questions in roughly the same order. What will it look like from the road? How big does it feel? What is the home like inside? What can my family do here? Residential 3D rendering works when each question has a view that answers it, and when the views are consistent enough to read as one project.
We plan a residential set around those questions. The exterior hero answers the first, an approach view or aerial answers where it sits, a sample flat set answers the home itself, and amenity views answer the lifestyle question. Floor plans close the loop by showing the layout every buyer eventually asks to see.
The order also matters in a campaign. A hoarding needs one strong image. A brochure needs a sequence. A website needs enough views to hold attention but not so many that the buyer drifts. The camera list sets this out so each channel gets the views that suit it.
Questions to settle before the camera list
- Which unit types will be marketed first?
- Which amenities are real selling points?
- Is the site orientation a feature, such as a garden or sea-facing side?
- Which images must also work in print at large size?

How the brief changes with the type of residential project
Apartments, gated communities and low-rise housing all fall under residential rendering, but they sell differently.
| Project type | What buyers weigh | Views that carry the sale |
|---|---|---|
| High-density apartments | Height, view, amenities, address | Tower hero, podium and amenity views, sample flat |
| Gated community | Layout, greenery, safety, clubhouse | Aerial masterplan, entrance, central green, clubhouse |
| Affordable and mid-segment housing | Space efficiency, value, facilities | Clear unit plans, clean exteriors, key amenities |
| Low-rise and row housing | Privacy, garden, parking | Street view, garden view, unit interiors |
| Redevelopment projects | Existing residents, new building, transition | Before and after context, new facade, unit layouts |

Additions that residential developers often add to the base set
Once the core views are agreed, these extras are the ones that most often earn their place.
- Day and dusk pair: A second lighting state of the hero view for hoardings and premium web banners.
- View-from-unit images: Rendered views from a balcony or window at a chosen floor, so buyers see what they will wake up to.
- Unit type sheet: Plans and one interior view per unit type, laid out for brokers.
- Walkthrough film: A story from approach to sample flat for launch events and ads.
- Rendered 360 tour: A walkable sample flat for remote buyers.
- Construction update visuals: Refreshed renders that match the stage the building has reached.

Questions about residential 3d rendering for apartments and housing
What views does a residential launch usually need?
A residential launch from 360 Space usually needs a hero exterior in day and dusk, an aerial with context, key amenities, show flat rooms and furnished floor plans for each unit type, often with a walkthrough film from the same model.
Can you render a residential project before construction starts?
Yes. We render residential projects from drawings and finish schedules, so the full launch kit is ready before construction starts.
Do you render both exteriors and show flat interiors?
Yes. We render exteriors, amenities and show flat interiors from one model, so materials and views stay consistent across the campaign. See show flat rendering.
How many views are typical for a housing project launch?
The view count depends on scale. A single tower often needs around five to eight views; a gated community needs more for aerials, clubhouse and landscape. 360 Space proposes a camera list in the brief.
How do you keep apartment renders accurate to the drawings?
360 Space builds residential projects from your drawings, confirms geometry at the white-model stage and applies the finish schedule, so renders match the approved design. Anything the drawings do not resolve is raised as a question before it appears in an image.
Can residential renders also be used for RERA and approval material?
Yes. We produce residential renders and floor plans that can be used in approval and registration material, provided they follow the approved drawings. Share the approved elevations and unit plans in the brief so the images match.
How do you choose which residential views to render first?
360 Space starts from the decisions buyers make: the exterior hero, an approach or aerial view, the sample flat and the key amenities. These four groups answer the first questions most residential buyers ask, and the remaining views are added as the campaign needs them.
Can residential renders show the view from a specific floor?
Yes. We can render the view from a balcony or window at a chosen floor, using site context and neighbouring buildings you provide. This helps buyers of upper-floor units understand what they will see before the building is built.
